1. GENERAL INFORMATION
    ● Services include mentoring for neurodivergent children, educational assessments (including
    dyslexia, cognitive, and autism/ADHD screenings), school observations, and training and support for
    schools and businesses.
    ● All services are provided by a qualified neurodevelopmental consultant, assessor,
    and mentor, with expertise in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), psychology, and social skills
    development. Who holds professional accreditation in SpLD assessment, social skills training, and
    DBT approaches.

  2. BOOKING & PAYMENT
    ● All sessions, assessments, and training must be booked and paid for in advance.
    ● Payment must be made in full at least one week before the scheduled session or assessment.
    Failure to pay in advance may result in the appointment being postponed.
    ● Training and consultancy bookings require a non-refundable deposit, with the full balance due
    before delivery.
    ● School observations require full payment in advance, with additional travel costs agreed
    beforehand.

  3. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
    ● Less than 48 hours’ notice: Full session/assessment fee is charged.
    ● More than 48 hours but less than one week: 50% of the session/assessment fee is charged.
    ● In exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, NeuroInformed Services reserves the right to waive late
    cancellation charges at its discretion.
    ● Regular mentoring/tutoring clients who cancel or miss two consecutive sessions may lose their
    recurring slot.

  4. LATE PAYMENTS
    ● All sessions must be paid in full at least one week before the appointment. Sessions will not take
    place without prior payment.
    ● For training, assessments, or consultancy services with an agreed invoice period, payment must be
    made within 30 days of the invoice date. Late payments beyond this may incur a surcharge, and
    further bookings may be suspended.

  5. ASSESSMENTS & SCHOOL OBSERVATIONS
    ● Pre-assessment forms must be completed and returned at least 3 weeks before the scheduled
    assessment. Failure to do so may result in rescheduling or cancellation, with applicable cancellation
    fees.
    ● School observations are conducted to assess a child’s educational needs in their learning
    environment. A report is included, and observations must be scheduled in advance.
    ● Reports are typically provided within four weeks of the final session unless otherwise stated.
    ● Clients requesting UK Access Arrangements must ensure that Form 8 (Part 1) is completed by the
    school before the assessment.

  6. MENTORING & WELLBEING SUPPORT
    ● Mentoring is not therapy and does not replace professional mental health or medical support.
    ● Sessions focus on executive function support, study skills, confidence-building, and self-advocacy
    for neurodivergent children.
    ● Wellbeing support services (e.g., DBT skills, communication support) focus on skill-building and
    personal development rather than therapeutic intervention.
    ● Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is appropriately supervised before and
    after sessions.

  7. TRAINING & CONSULTANCY
    ● Training sessions for schools and businesses are customised to client needs and require advance
    booking.
    ● Training materials remain the intellectual property of NeuroInformed Services and cannot be recorded,
    shared, or distributed beyond the agreed audience without prior written consent.
    ● Any additional pre-training meetings must be agreed upon in advance and may be chargeable.

  8. CONFIDENTIALITY & DATA PROTECTION
    ● Personal data is handled securely and in compliance with GDPR, and as detailed in our privacy
    policy.
    ● Information shared during mentoring and assessments is confidential, except where required by law
    or where action, in line with our safeguarding policy, might be necessary to prevent harm to the
    client or someone else.
    ● Reports and records will only be shared with third parties (e.g., schools, other professionals) with
    the client’s explicit consent.

  9. PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT
    ● Photos and videos may be taken during assessments and mentoring sessions for professional
    purposes, such as documenting handwriting, grip, or written work.
    ● Videos may also be used for professional development and training, such as peer reviews with
    other assessors.
    ● No photos or videos will be shared publicly or used for marketing without explicit written consent.
    ● Clients (or parents/guardians for children under 13) will be asked to provide signed consent before
    any photos or videos are taken.

  10. AGREEMENT & UPDATES
    ● Booking a service confirms agreement to these terms.
    ● These terms may be updated, with changes communicated via email.
